I had seen this color in a tester in my local dept. store and loved it! I waited four mos. for it to come in, but it never did. I decided to order it from elizabetharden.com and when it came it was not quite the color i remembered. It had a pink base, but what I remembered was a muted coral shade. I have another shade of EA lipstick that I love, "Ginger", so I expect I'll just blend the two together to achieve the shade I want. Next time I'll make sure of the color before I order!

While I absolutely love the container and consistency of this lipstick, I cannot wear it as the color is so light. The color chart did not correctly display color choice for Peony : ( I will most likely order a darker shade after checking them out at a store. It would be great if the customer could give you name and number of other brands and match your brand for us : )

I got this in Ginger. Love the color and I was very impressed at how it moisturized my lips the moment I put it on. The color was perfect for my fair skin. Excellent product!

This color is just beautiful. Not too orange & has a hint of pink. Perfection. Plus my lips are conditioned & never feel dry with this lipstick.

Amethyst Color is BEAUTIFUL

I have been using the Ameythest color since 1992 and I hope they never discontinue it. The color is a sugarplum with a soft shimmer. It's not as bright as the photo depicks. It looks great with my brown hair and eyes. The texture is creamy and yummy. I highly recommend this lipstick and color. :o)

Just used this lipstick for the first time. Love the color, but the tube of lipstick is loose and getting marred on the side.
I know it will eventually fall out. Poor quality control. Will call to see if I can get a replacement.

Definitely worth the price! Long lasting lipstick that doesn't get dried up, stays smooth & moist on lips! Love it! Going to buy a few more colors!

I got this in the Cameo. I really love it. The color is so pretty, if you are fair you will love this one. It goes on smoothly and lasts pretty well.

Very moisturizing lipstick that does not feather and reduces the appearance of lip lines. I wish there were frosted shades, but I just used a frosted gloss over the lipstick to get a sparkling effect. Great product.

I love the texture of this lipstick, and the gold tube. However do not think the color is ginger it has a pink tone. Ginger in my opinion is not pink, it has more golden brown.

Ina Garten was in a magazine wearing all of EA products. Since our coloring is the same, I bought all of the makeup that she was wearing in the photo. I'm not disappointed, all the colors look just as pretty on me as they do on her :) My new lipstick is very nice!

I have this lipstck in several shades-Sugar, Cameo, Posy, Petal, Rose and Baby Pink. I found these shades all work well with my fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. These lipsticks are wonderful! There is no fragrance, great colors, creamy yet long lasting, and a great heavy gold case. I think they are very comparable to other high end lipsticks (Chanel, Dior) but at a better price.

I have trouble with lipstick irritating my lips and rarely wear it because it usually drys and chaps my lips not this lipstick. Wears for a long time without drying and irrating.

I am so happy I found this lipstick. I will never part from it :)) My lips look fuller and moisturized and the color (rouge) really compliments my skin. I love it that it doesn't have that orangey tendency that so many red lipsticks usually have. It doesn't smear or wear off easily. This is definitely THE lipstick for me.

I love this lipstick. Although it looks very dark in the tube, I apply only 1-2 coats and it applys a beautiful wine-like color with moisture and shine. I wear it daily and can't stop admiring the color and the shine. I recommend it highly.

I bought this lipstick in coral and was afraid it might be too bright, but it was a perfect shade. I have extremely dry and pealing lips due to some medications I take and have real trouble with lipstick. This lipstick was soothing,helped my dryness and really felt terrific on. I just ordered another in a different shade.

Although it was difficult to see precisely on my computer screen, the color is better than I expected, and exactly what I wanted. My only caveat is that it wears off quickly. Nevertheless, I will order it again.
